About Me

Computer Help Lancaster
Computer Help Lancaster – While I was working in an office colleagues used to say “Janet, how do I…?” which is what gave me the idea for my business.
Over the years I have successfully completed various computer courses and also a teaching qualification. This is backed up with over 20 year’s practical experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and in some cases Access. In my previous job I analysed data and reviewed controls in systems – looking at and the way data is collected, processed and used. Each review was concluded in the production of a report. My experience with Microsoft Publisher and PowerPoint is from using them for various groups I have been involved with, for doing publicity and presentations. These are other areas I teach.
In addition to helping people with their computers I enjoy gardening, meeting up with friends, playing badminton (I am told there are rules – I just enjoy running round the court!), doing different crafts, cooking, volunteering with different charities and am an active member of my Church. As a result of the different voluntary work I undertake and I have also got DBS[Disclosure and Barring Service] (Formerly CRB [Criminal Records Bureau]) clearance.
